Thank you for continuing to support this site. You may have noticed that The Sight Reading Project was offline, recently. TSRP relies on the financial support of users like you to keep the service running. The Sight Reading Project is free of advertising, and your support helps keep it that way! Please consider a donation, today, in order to maintain this service for you and your students. Thank you!- Kevin

Welcome to the Sight Reading Project!

This site is an online library of user-created music sight reading exercises. No account is needed to practice, but a free account allows users to contribute to the searchable database of exercises, access advanced search capabilities, and create learning communities where exercises can be bookmarked and sequenced for students.

☆ This new streamlined look is now friendlier for all screen sizes, desktop through mobile! Enjoy!

☆ This site is intended primarily for music classroom projection; however, it is also can be used by any those wishing to practice music independently.

☆ For the purpose of developing inner hearing and accomodating ranges of instruments, this site does not provide starting pitches. You may download the MIDI rendering if studying without an instructor to check for accuracy.

☆ I've invested hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars to provide this service. The recent outage highlighted my need for financial support to continue this service! Please consider an annual donation ($5 minimum suggested.)

Help me keep this service free!
